Watch the first 9 minutes of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
If you haven't seen Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which recently won an Oscar for Best Animated Movie, now's your chance to check it out. Well, the first nine minutes anyway.
To celebrate the movie's release on digital, Sony has shared an extended preview on YouTube, giving viewers a look at what makes the film so good. The opening minutes highlight the movie's terrific animation, irreverent humor, and diverse cast of characters—everything that makes Into the Spider-Verse so great.
Even if you have seen Into the Spider-Verse, you'll enjoy the extended preview because it'll remind you why you loved the movie in the first place. And, come on, who doesn't like the meta roast of Chris Pine's Peter Parker making fun of Tobey Maguire's Peter Parker? Those dance moves are embarrassing!
The extended preview ends just before Into the Spider-Verse kicks into high gear, as Miles Morales and his uncle Aaron visit an abandoned subway station, where Miles's life is changed forever.
