myBoom studio is a completely customizable way to change the way Bluetooth speakers look

Ultimates Ears wants to make its Bluetooth speakers a lot more personal with its new myBoom studio that lets you customize just about everything about its popular Boom 3 speakers.

The Boom 3 is the same speaker it unveiled last year, but it comes in a whole new package depending on the way you customize it through the myBoom studio. The magic button is present, as is the IP67 water and dust proofing, 15 hours of battery life and compatibility with the Power Up dock.

UE gives you six different options to customize: fabric patterns, end cap, volume buttons, spine, loop and text. The fabric is the most versatile with 12 different options that range from the tried and true options to truly unique colors like Frozen Kingdom or Berry Fun that infuse a psychedelic tone to the speaker.

The rest of the customizable options don't fall too far behind. You'll get eight different color options for the end caps, volume buttons, spine and loop. This can let you drop different splashes of color in each element of the Boom 3 speaker. UE says there are 50,000 different color combinations you can choose from.

Then there's the spine text you can add. You get a 16-character limit; all you need is a little imagination and you can spell out names or unique words that stand out.

The UE myBoom studio is now live. Customizing a Boom 3 speaker through it will cost $179.99 and will ship out in 3 to 4 weeks. If you want a more in-person experience, UE is teaming up with T-Mobile to offer the myBoom studio in two flagship stores in Chicago and Miami.
